The Governance – Global Practice of the World Bank and the partner institutions of Charter for Public Procurement Studies (CPPS) proudly present the world’s first ever, Certificate Program in Public Procurement (CPPP) offered free in Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) format.
CPPP provides the learners with an opportunity to enhance domain knowledge benefit from peer review submissions and get a certificate on successful completion of the course. The course, a blend of e-learning, self-study and social learning is offered completely online. CPPP will have eight units in three main modules of (i) Introduction to Procurement and Public procurement (including Management Concepts and Techniques); (ii) Public Procurement Operations; and (iii) Public Procurement and Good Governance.
Aims and Objectives of the Course
CPPP caters to procurement practitioners across the globe and the endeavor is to enable anyone interested in public procurement to get an overview of the field and to understand the rationale behind Public Procurement decisions.
Duration and Assessment Structure
A period of 13 weeks is provided to complete CPPP. Candidate will need to pass module-end assessments and the Certificate will be issued when a cumulative score of over 60% is achieved in all modules.

I am interested in your online course of Procurement and would like to be considered for the course of Procurement, I'm currently working as a Program Finance Officer at Network Activities Group. Previously, I was working as National Finance Assistant funded by World Bank, Finance Officer at Myanmar Red Cross Society and Admin Finance Assistant at Burnet Institute International.
I’m currently working in finance department in Network Activities Group for Department of Rural Development of World Bank funded. When I had been worked in Myanmar Red Cross Society’s for 3MDG fund and consortium fund of 6 International Red Cross and in Burnet Institute’s Harm Reduction Project for Global fund. At present, I am heading this program’s finance operations by supervision on the eight township project and coordinate with township finance officers. I had been work in here, my duty to prepare WB, ICSF, MHF donors financial reporting and Budget allocations ,internal Cash Flow Forecast, and internal financial report for monthly, quarterly and annually. Moreover I need to supervise (8) field Finance Officers in townships and assist to Finance Manager for Finance policy development. Previously, I worked at Department of Rural Development work above mention as present and technical assistant to Director of Finance and coordinated contract negotiation with government and NGOs, to advice for Finance and Administration compliance reversion to submit Parliament. When I also work MRCS and Burnet Institute I had been prepared the financial report bookkeeping training to CBOs, SHGs, VHC and overall project operation to Program Manager. Thus, I would like to change my professional background to Procurement specialist and I'm more interested the procurement procedures and process.
